Neighbor, not competitor

In Sabbath as Resistance, Walter Brueggemann writes that “the system will turn one’s neighbor into a competitor.” That sentence resonates with my desire for a more open and collaborative scholarship.
Should I return to blogging? How should I approach my various interests? Can these be made accessible as categories or topics, without dividing myself and only allowing theology in one place, science in another, and something else somewhere else?
Because I will not quit my day job, and because I desire open and collaborative approaches to scholarship and creativity, it might be good for me to return to the blog format.
