Truth, not commentary

God gave me my writing so that I might tell the truth.
But the world does not need more opinions. The world needs balm, salve, and a dressing for the wound. There will be no laser-focused critique of contemporary culture from me. And yet: “Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!” (1 Corinthians 6:3)
What I want to provide—or leave for posterity—is not social commentary, but rather something interesting, thought-provoking, and beautiful. “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8)
I want to create something beautiful. Even more so, I wish to be beautiful. (Perhaps that is a good starting point for a discussion of gender identity.)
